Reasons Why Raymond Mill Blower Pipe Blocks

Reason: raw materials feeding too fast or unevenly feeding.

While feeding raw materials to the Raymond mill, operators should pay attention to the sound to see if there is any abnormal sound. If the sound is quite and even, then the blower pipe works normally. But if the sound changes unstably, then operators need to stop the Raymond mill and check it.

Reason: the pipe cannot exhaust smoothly.

The cycle airstream heats, leading to the temperature of main motor increase and the current in the blower decrease.

Reason: there is fault in the dust collector.

Dust collector in Raymond mill is mainly used to recycle the air quantity increased in the circuiting airflow, and remove the dust and powder in the airflow and finally refine and discharge the increased exhaust gas. When there is fault in the dust collector, a large quantity of dust and powder will easily pile up in the blower pipe, which will cause the blower pipe blocks.

Reason: the ground raw materials contain too much moisture or viscosity, have poor flowability.

The moisture content of raw materials directly affects the capacity and efficiency of Raymond mill. Too much moisture content of raw materials will lead to different problems such as raw materials adhere to the grinding cavity, blocks in the blower pipe or discharge opening and so on.

Reason: the abnormal work of blower.

The blower is mainly used to provide circuiting airflow which can bring the produced powders enter the classifier through blower pipe for classifying. Unstable voltage may cause the abnormal work of the blower. And the abnormal work of blower will lead to the unstable of the airflow. In this case, the crushed raw materials cannot evenly enter the classifier as usual, leading to the blower pipe blocks.
